river surf season 2016 kicked off

a great way to start into the new week.

since there was a local holiday in zurich (www.sechselaeuten.ch) i had the day off at work. weather has been rainy and the forecast looked promising for the river wave. so i packed my board and gave it a try. the water discharge at the lower end and cold water temperature (10 degrees celsius) kept the crowds away. i enjoyed a private session :)

thank you

i've just realised that my blog has been accessed by more than 10'000 visitors! very happy to see that some of you might be really interested in the development of landlocked surfboards :-)

thank you!

down under

let me tell you: we had a blast! traveling through nsw and queensland was a fantastic experience for the whole family. although the waves could have been a bit bigger some days the ocean always treated me with some swell. i've also seen a few pretty nice boards which inspired me for future shapes.
