...so does landlocked surfboards. it has been an exciting journey the past 8 years. however, i recently decided to focus on other things but certainly stay connected to the ocean and surfing.

epic lacanau

16/21 days where we were able to score waves is a magic average. super mild temperatures, good food&wine as well as a fantastic time with family and friends made it an epic summer vacation.

getting ready

with only a couple of weeks left, a paddle session in sweet water helps to get in shape.

after spending a few hours in a dusty environment, i finished the board this weekend. ready to get wet!

fins are set, ready for sanding. stay tuned for the final update.

gloss coat

74 days to go until lacanau welcomes us... the new board progresses well!

bottom lamination

i've finished the bottom lamination of the new 6'6'' board and used the cutlap technique. it turned out pretty well and i'll soon start with the top lamination.
