16/21 days where we were able to score waves is a magic average. super mild temperatures, good food&wine as well as a fantastic time with family and friends made it an epic summer vacation.
i've finished the bottom lamination of the new 6'6'' board and used the cutlap technique. it turned out pretty well and i'll soon start with the top lamination.
yesterday i had the pleasure to welcome two young visitors who were interested in landlocked boards. it didn't take them long and the twins left with two boards under their arms. both shapes work very well in smaller/less powerful waves. especially the yellow 5'10'' was one of my favorite boards last year in portugal and will be missed! bye bye!
there's a fix deadline to get that board finished since it'll join us to france in summer. so that provides constant pressure to progress with shaping ;)
this afternoon i've been working on the bottom and prepared the marks for the railbands.
