belated happy new year to all my readers!
it has been quiet for a while because there has been some addition to our family. however, the nugget project is still progressing. lamination process has been finished. i'll now pre-sand and start with the glossing. if everything goes according to my plan the board should be ready for our sgc trip to portugal in march.
yesterday evening i started the lamination process for the nugget board (5'9'' x 22'' x 2 3/4'').
little print on rice-paper, before i applied the resin
final result of bottom lamination
the shape is finished and i now started the preparation for lamination works.
i worked on the outline of a new nugget shape. the weather outside is a good invitation to spend more time in the shaping bay :) slowly we get there and i'll keep you posted.

autumn is calling and therefore i thought it would be a good idea to get the party started again in the shaping bay. i explored a few new templates and fell in love with this nug shape. as usual it's meant to be an addition to your shortboard quiver but also suitable for the river. not sure about the length yet but definitely below 6ft. keep you posted on the progress.
